1. Advertisers

1.a. Section 1 to 5 of the terms and conditions apply to all advertisers who wish to advertise on the busbiz-online.co.uk website (‘the Site’).

1.b. References to ‘the Advertisement’ mean the number of advertisements that you have instructed us to input on ‘the site’ and the number we have agreed to host on ‘the Site’ in accordance with your order.

1.c. References to ‘we’ or ‘us’ mean busbiz-online.co.uk. Any reference to ‘you’ means the customer as detailed on the order, or company or individual submitting advertising information for use on ‘the site’.

2. Advertising Orders

2.a. Selecting 'Place a free Ad' entitles a company to input advertisements on 'the site' at no cost. 'Free Ads' will be hosted until we are notified the product/s is/are sold or the advertiser no longer requires the advertising space.

2.b Selecting 'Dealer Options' provides a number of alternative advertising packages for dealers, traders, manufacturers and suppliers, rates have been detailed in Adobe Acrobat format. To order any of these packages please contact sales@busbiz-online.co.uk with your company and contact information to receive an order form.

2c. Unless otherwise agreed by ‘us’ in writing, once notified that your order has been accepted you agree to continue with the advertising service for the minimum period stated on the order. ‘We’ will notify you of the commencement date. Any charges paid for the minimum period as agreed is not refundable if cancelled early. You may cancel your subscription at any time after the minimum period by giving one months written notice.

2.d. On commencement of your order we agree to host on ‘the Site’ the number of Advertisements agreed on the order. ‘We’ reserve the right to amend and update our hosting procedures and/or the site as required.

3. Charges

3.a. Advertising is charged at the rates agreed on the order and is payable monthly in advance. Unless otherwise indicated all rates are exclusive of VAT.

3.b. If a hypertext link is included in the order it will be charged separately at the rate agreed on the order and is payable as per section 3.a.

3.c. ‘The Site’ may be unavailable or inaccessible from time to time for the purpose of updating, reconstruction, technical or other reasons. We accept no liability to you for any direct or consequential loss (including loss of profit) which you may suffer as a result of ‘the Site’ (or any part it) being unavailable to browsers for any reason whether due to our negligence or not. It is our policy, exercisable at our discretion, to issue a credit to the value of the period ‘the site’ is unavailable, in excess of 48 hours, or extend the order term by the period ‘the site’ is unavailable at no additional cost to ‘you’.

4. Information provided for advertising.

4.a. You are responsible for providing to ‘the Site’ all information for the Advertisements in such format or medium as we specify.

4.b. You are responsible for providing us with your company logo and other information we may require for the purpose of inserting your advertisement or hypertext link and for verifying that the link has been correctly inserted.

4.c. ‘We’ are entitled to cancel or suspend your subscription and/or remove all or any of your Advertisements (without compensation) if either the Advertisements or the linked site contains material which we consider to be offensive immoral illegal or otherwise likely to prejudice the goodwill of busbiz-online.co.uk.

4.d. You are responsible for ensuring that the Advertisements comply with all relevant legislation and do not infringe the intellectual property rights, copyright or trademarks of any third party.

4.e. ‘We’ may terminate your order (without compensation or refund) if payment is not made when due or you are in material or persistent breach of any obligation contained in the terms and conditions.

5. Intellectual property rights, copyright and trademarks

5.a. We undertake to you that all copy and materials delivered to us will be used solely for the purpose of placing the Advertisements on the Site.

5.b. You agree to indemnify us against any loss or liability we may suffer or incur as a result of hosting the Advertisements (including, without limitation, any claim that the Advertisement infringes third party intellectual property rights, copyright or trademarks).

All copyright trademarks and other intellectual property rights in any material contained in this web site is either owned by or licensed to busbiz-online.co.uk or its advertisers. You may access the site and download material from it for your own personal use but not otherwise. Any modification distribution or replication of the copyright material without consent is strictly prohibited.

6.b. Purchasing from ‘the site’

‘the site’ hosts advertisements by independent sellers of used buses, coaches, equipment and spares relating to this passenger transport industry. If you purchase or enquire about any item from this site you are purchasing from the seller and / or advertiser, not from busbiz-online.co.uk

busbiz-online endeavours to ensure that our advertisers are of good repute but we are unable to accept responsibility for any loss you may incur from purchasing any goods advertised on this site. You are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying upon it. You should never provide any sensitive information relating to you or your company to any third party without verifying their authenticity.

6.c. Privacy policy

The policy statement applies to site users who supply personal information with any advert placed on ‘the site’ and that you consent to our using such information in accordance with our privacy policy.

When you register with us we need to know certain information such as your name, company name, address and other contact details for authentication purposes.

We follow strict security procedures, conforming to current United Kingdom data protection legislation, with regard to the storage and disclosure of information you supply to us.

We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to any other person without your consent. We may provide statistical information (which will not identify you) about users of this site, site traffic, sales revenue and other relevant website information to third parties.
